Gaia, the young daughter of the Doctor, wears a recall device on her wrist to teleport her back to the TARDIS when things get dangerous. The problem is that it teleports her to a 'safe' TARDIS, and that isn't always the one of her own time. Sometimes, it is the TARDIS of another version of the Doctor who suddenly has his future child to protect. Over the years as she grows up, Gaia crosses the timelines of the Doctor time and time again.
