NOTE: Again... past story that links a bit to "Rough Beginnings". Wrote this after seeing 1st season of Torchwood. Sigh... God it was good... until it wasn't. And I needed to make the link between Doctor Who and Torchwood. This begins right at the end of "The Last of the Time Lords".

I warn of mild torture (light description, really) but nothing too graphic. Otherwise this can have graphic moments of sex :-)

Rough Beginnings

by

I wrote this and other Doctor Who stories in and around 2007. I am an OLD Doctor fan (my first was Jon Pertwee). I wrote several Third and Fourth... even a Fifth Doctor stories, all gen that got into Fanzines... somewhere in the 80s. When Doctor Who returned I was drawn back in. So I'm again posting old stories... don't know if I'll get back to anything. I have Torchwood stories too. But after the death of a specific character... I'll see what I'll do. I may post fragments too... we'll see. Please enjoy for what it is. Comments welcome.

Summary: Post "Empty Child" . Jack has been brought aboard the TARDIS just before his stolen ship and the German bomb he brought on board to save others is toast. It was the least the Doctor could do seeing how Jack had saved Rose... twice. But the Doctor needs to know he can trust the mysterious ex-time agent... and finds something more...

Everything You Want

by

The square imprint in the sand was all that was left behind, and he knew that the wind and surf would soon erase it, leaving nothing but memories behind - no matter how tortured - for he and the woman whose hand he held. Rose.

Rose Tyler.

His Rose.

But also his Rose. The Doctor that had just flown away, never to return. She belonged to him, too.

Rose had once told him that being stuck with him wasn’t so bad. She was the only person who could possibly make this right. There were indications and hope that Rose may be with him; the fact that she had kissed him when he whispered that he loved her and the comforting weight of her hand in his. They were glimmers of hope. He prayed that that would be enough.
