As Zach is invited on board the TARDIS, a detour takes him and the Doctor to a strange world, which is hours away from destruction. The Doctor decides to stay to help the remainder of the population survive the unliveable atmosphere, whilst Zach grows accustomed to life as a traveller in time and space. But as they settle into this new world, something else is growing under the surface.
