Season of the Witches

The Doctor and Zach find themselves in 20th Century Massachusetts, in the infamous city of Salem. But something has gone wrong. Gallows and stakes dominate the town square, ready for their victims; the ones the townsfolk are claiming to be witches. Zach and the Doctor set out to piece together what has happened in Salem. Why are the witch trials continuing three hundred years after their end? And why do the accused women actually seem to be wielding genuine magical powers?
