Before the time lock, the guilt he associated with his planet was simple. Unchanged. Easy. Not in terms of dealing with it, but in terms of what he felt guilty about, well...that had been rather straightforward. But it had begun to shift over the last few months, and he’d found that whenever he had this dream, standing on the rolling hills overlooking Arcadia, trying to move but physically unable to, a voice in his head told him he made a mistake. That someone might find out and use it against him somehow, which added to the guilt and made him remember he was the renegade Time Lord, the son of a human, the man who always ignored tradition, and that just beyond the hill he standing on there were quite a few people must hate him for turning them into the outcasts he always felt he was.
