A short begining of a time traveling piece about a young actress hired to go back to Victorian England to gather intel, using a cutting edge time trave technology.
The thought had been to have her play a rich widow to study history. But she falls for a Colonel and doesn't want to go back. I started the prologue with her flirting with him after they'd met. He rescued her from a man attacking her (ok, she kicked the guy's ass and ran to Col. Alex's home afterwards). Then it goes into HOW she is introduced to the world of time travel. I never finished this, so you don't get to see her training, or traveling, or meeting the characters.
