It's been centuries since the Doctor left Susan behind, and since then, both have regenerated. When she reenters his life, sporting a new and rather pretty form, the Doctor's forced to come to terms with the new array of feelings he's having towards her. It wouldn't be a problem, but hundreds of years trying to act more human-like for the benefit of his friends has left him in the confusing position of how to regard it. Should he accept it with no problem like the Time Lords would've taught, or with should he regard his new urges with disgust, like the Humans would no doubt see it?
