FIrst couple few chapters start in high school.

Yasmin Khan had her year from hell, but managed to get by unscathed.

Doc (Human Doctor) also had a bit of a rough childhood, but grew up to be a travel vlogger.

They once knew each other in high school, though briefly and find each other again years later after disaster strikes Doc on one of her travels and comes back home to Sheffield. Can she get over what happened? Can Yaz get over the residual resentment she feels that happened between her and Doc in high school? Will they eventually help each other accept the things that has gone wrong in their lives and come together?

Time will tell.
