“Oh, unspeakable!” a smirking voice agrees from behind them and they all turn to see River striding towards them, hair bouncing on her shoulders as she grins broadly, “Hello, Mother, Father, Grandpa.” She gives them all tight hugs then rolls her eyes, “This place is open for a few thousand years, and the Doctor picks the one day that we brought you to park the TARDIS.”

Or Clara, River and the Doctor go Christmas shopping and run into the Ponds while they're there.
