The Master kidnaps Ten and holds him hostage for 48hours in a place only he can find. He tortures Ten by tying him up and forcing him to stay perfectly still (or risk electric shock). He records the “experiment” via a camera, before releasing The Doctor’s location to the Tardis for rescue. Needless to say, there is some physical and mental recovery involved.
