That night the man’s face was clearer. His eyes were a vague grey-blue and his hair was short and black, but when Jamie tried to get a closer look it all became unclear again, as if the man were some sort of impressionist painting.
Jamie didn’t even know what an impressionist painting was.
It is no secret that Time Lords aren't the most knowledgeable as to how alien minds work, and humans are no exception. Jamie's mind, just like any other human's, is plastic and malleable, and it refuses to leave his friends behind.
