Set after the TV story Inferno, the Candy Jar Books, Schizoid Earth by David A. McIntyre and Mutally Assured Domination by Nick Walter's. (Both these books are good Dr Who type stories and I have tried to keep spoilers to a minimum!)
The Brigadier has met the Dominators before he rememberes them well. The Doctor however cannot remember the Dominators. The Doctor does remember travelling to a parallel Earth. The Brigadier has also been there but he doesn't remember it or at least he is only vaughly.
