“Claiming the mantle of the Hybrid, it’s making a promise: to stand in the ruins of Gallifrey, to break a billion billion hearts to heal their own, to unravel the Web of Time…” She smiled. “It’s like any of our titles: it’s a promise that you make, the story you tell about yourself. So… now that we've destroyed Gallifrey, what would you think about giving the Web of Time a proper kick in the shins?”
“You mean tear it to pieces?”
“Of course,” the Valeyard replied. “What did you think I meant?”
