Quid Pro Quo

by

Shanghai, 1844. In the aftermath of the First Opium War the city is fractured: poverty and wealth, tradition and ambition, drugs, exploitation, organised crime. There's a volatile cocktail of local resentment and foreign presumption that seems to be waiting for one detonating spark.
