There are Laws to Time, enforced since the very beginnings of the universe. When the Time Lords were still young, these Laws were subject to change quite often... by the Doctor's time, they were set in stone. Even after their death at the hands of the Moment, the Laws enforced by the Time Lords were still in effect - the Doctor could not turn against them without destroying the universe he has spent the last few thousand years protecting.

So when the Paradox of the Eleventh reached too far, the Laws were put into motion and the Paradox was resolved by unraveling the timeline and restoring a Lawful universe.

And this is the story of that timeline, and of the woman who stood by the Doctor's side during it all; Erin Wilson.
