The War of Fandoms

It shouldn't have come as that much of a surprise.

Millions, maybe hundreds of millions, of people putting so much of themselves into the cause they called 'winning an argument about fandom' comes with a cost. It's impossible to feel so much and then separate easily.

But it did come as a surprise.

It came as a surprise when as fans of the world slept, their consciousnesses left their body to a new realm: the realm of creativity and fandom. Two choices were left for the fans. The first was to leave fandoms forever during the daylight hours, or fight in the War of Fandoms. Fight for what they loved.
