Tosh wants to see her mother, who visits the festival of ceremony and remembrance of the life and death of 12th century Heike warriors at the Akama Shrine in Shimonoseki every year on the 24th of April. The TARDIS chooses to malfunction again, and they end up in the 12th century instead, in the middle of the Battle of Dan-no-ura. They are captured by the victorious Minamoto forces, and Tosh takes an interest in the young general Minamoto no Yoshitsune. Will such an out-of-time romance have a chance?
