A blue wooden box lands smack inside Serenity, dislodging a large store of ammunition. A lot of male bristling ensues, and River Tam looses it. The Doctor holds her head and is horrified by what he sees in River's mind. He's also a bit perturbed that she can see into his mind as well. River is taken with this strange man who actually understands her.
As the crew of Serenity observe the inside of the TARDIS, Wash calls out "Reavers" and everyone runs out except the doctor and River. She tries to escape, but the door is wedged hard now into the pile of ammunition and she can't get through in time.
River and the Doctor are off for who knows where or when in the TARDIS.
